Want to grow your Mediterranean coastal sustainability network?

Connect with inspiring women driving change in our coastal communities!

Discover the remarkable stories of trailblazing women who are passionately transforming our coastal communities and paving the way for a greener future in the Mediterranean!

It all started with our Mediterranean Coast Day 2024 campaign, launched under the theme "#WomensWave for coastal sustainability in the Mediterranean". We wanted to feature inspiring women who are leading the change in coastal and marine conservation, climate action, and other environmental efforts across the region.

Here, you’ll find the powerful stories and testimonials we've collected. We hope this platform sparks new collaborations and partnerships, allowing the #WomensWave to grow even stronger. Together, we can protect the extraordinary coastline we all share!

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone who shared their journey. Now, it's up to all of us to keep the wave going and foster this movement!

This campaign was made possible thanks to the Global Environment Facility, as part of the MedProgramme’s Child Project 2.1 and the SCCF project. Learn more at: gefmed.paprac.org
