PAP/RAC met with the CC/RAC

An informal meeting with the CC/RAC (under establishment) colleagues was held on 14 February 2024. The director, Mr. Mustafa Baskara introduced the staff, the on-going activities for the establishment of this RAC and possibilities for cooperation between the two UNEP/MAP components. This was the first, although informal, meeting between the two RACs. PAP/RAC is confident that collaboration on CC activities will be fruitful and that synergies will be sought to best complement what PAP/RAC is already doing with regard to adaptation and mitigation of CC in coastal areas with the approaches and experiences of the CC/RAC once fully operational.
