The GEF-UNEP MedProgramme’s Annual Stocktaking Meeting (ASM), with the "Assess – Synergize – Move forward” slogan, was held on 2-3 November 2022 in Athens, Greece. The MedProgramme Coordination Unit, hosted by the Mediterranean Action Plan of the UN Environment Programme (UNEP/MAP), organized this first edition of the ASM in cooperation with the implementing agencies and executing partners of the eight MedProgramme Child Projects. PAP/RAC actively participated in the meeting, presenting issues and trends in Mediterranean coastal zones, and how MedProgramme and PAP/RAC’s activities within MedProgramme can help alleviating the human pressures on coastal zones, and adapting to climate change impacts, on more local and national scales.
