The 22st Meeting of the Member States Expert Group on Maritime Spatial Planning (MSEG – MSP) took place on 14th June 2022 in Brest (France). During the meeting, highlights from Member States on the latest development in MSP preparation and implementation were shared with the participants. The specific focus was given to the Swedish MSP, the process, results and future steps.
The meeting was also an opportunity for PAP/RAC to present to the EU Member States the Mediterranean MSP Workspace: a unique place offering governance advice and easy access to the latest planning tools to the MSP authorities and practitioners. The MSP Workspace is an evolving online practical guide for preparing and delivering plans that incorporate climate actions, ecosystem approach, and land-sea interactions.
