Mediterranean Coast Day celebrated and Create announced at Lastovo!

10^th “Anatomy of Islands” symposium dedicated to climate change and environmental futures of islands was held from 26-28 September at Lastovo. Three days of presentations and discussions on different issues related to the islands and climate change with ethnologists, anthropologists, sociologists, regional and environmental economists, legal experts, spatial planners, geographers, marine biologists, oceanographers and physicists enriched all participants in understanding the challenges that islands are facing. PAP/RAC invited scientists to join awareness raising campaign about the stakes along the Mediterranean coasts. Participants were also informed about Interreg Italy-Croatia cluster project CREATE which aims to promote good practices in adaptation to climate change. Create conference in Split, webinars and the future coastal adaptation community were announced.
