The lead partners of PEGASO project Work Packages (WP) 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 met in Venice, on 2-3 March 2010 to discuss the tasks to perform and outputs to produce within these WPs. This meeting was an occasion for them to discuss about how to co-ordinate their activities in order to reduce overlapping and understand interlinkages and needs for the project implementation. To this end, all WPs were presented and made acquainted to other WP partners, in particular the PAP/RAC main output, i.e. the ICZM Governance Platform as the major project result which is tailored to assist the countries to implement the ICZM Protocol.
The second part of the meeting was dedicated to the Kick-off meeting, which will take place in Venice, on 12-14 April 2010. The logistic aspects were defined and the agenda was reviewed in order to smooth the work of the meeting organisers.
A very friendly and co-operative atmosphere during this meeting, which has yielded first concrete results, is a good sign for the future of the project.
