SwitchMed calls for green entrepreneurs

The SwitchMed programme is launching the call for the ¨SwitchMed Green Entrepreneurs Training Programme¨ that will take place in Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan from November onwards. If you have an enterprising spirit, with a green business idea in mind but you do not know how to launch in the market this new green product or service, or if you don’t know where to find technical support and access to finance, you can now apply to the SwitchMed training programme. The deadline for applications is 31 October 2015.

This is a free of charge on-site training with a duration of 5 days spread over 3 months that will serve as incubation phase for the entrepreneurs’ ideas. Workshops and training materials will be in Arabic (English materials are also available). At the end of the training, the best projects will have the opportunity to participate to an acceleration phase, receiving one-year technical and financial advice, and being awarded financial support.

By joining the training, entrepreneurs will have access to one of the first highly qualified green entrepreneurship training programmes in the southern Mediterranean countries and will learn how to convert step by step their Green Business Ideas into a sound and feasible Green Business Project. This project is funded by the European Commission.
