We are pleased to announce that the report on the State of Environment and Development (SoED 2020) will be presented today, Wednesday 21 October 2020 at 12:45 CET at a media conference. The report presents a comprehensive and updated assessment of the status and main sustainability issues related to environment and development in the Mediterranean region. This event, open to journalists and co-organized by UNEP and the European Union, will be held online in the framework of the EU Green Week and will mark the starting point of the report dissemination.
Gaetano Leone, UNEP/MAP Coordinator, as well as François Guerquin, Director of Plan Bleu will speak during this launch. At the same time, the report, will be available in English via this link: www.planbleu.org/soed
Please also note in your agendas the dates from 16 to 18 November 2020, when we will present the SoED 2020 to the French media, on the occasion of Med2020, a virtual event on climate and environmental change in the Mediterranean.
