The CAMP Bosnia and Herzegovina (B&H) project enters its full implementation phase soon after the Agreement was signed end June 2020. The inception meeting of its Steering Committee was organised on-line on 15 October 2020. The Steering Committee is composed of seven representatives from different administrative levels and institutions of B&H and PAP/RAC. This first meeting was honoured by the participation of distinguished guests, namely Mr. Nevenko Herzeg, the Prime Minister of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, and Mr. Živko Matuško, the Mayor of the Neum Municipality.
The meeting participants were informed on the UNEP/MAP CAMP and its objectives, as well as the process and achievements of the CAMP B&H so far. The current status and the planning of activities for the following months, that will involve other MAP components, were presented. The participants welcomed the progress achieved so far and wished success to the project implementation.
