On 3 and 4 May 2017, the PAP/RAC National Focal Points meeting was held in Split, Croatia, in the presence of representatives of 17 Contracting Parties, five invited experts, the UN Environment/MAP representative and the PAP/RAC staff. The main objectives of the meeting were to review the progress achieved during the 2016-2017 biennium in the implementation of the PAP/RAC Programme of Work (PoW), and to present the PoW for the biennium 2018-2019, as well as to discuss the Regional Framework the first draft of which had been presented and discussed in Athens beginning April. In addition, the Coast and Hydrology components of the Quality Status Report and the GEF MedProgramme and CVC&ICZM projects were introduced to the participants.
