On 13 December, the first meeting of the PAP/RAC Steering Committee in the new call was organised at the PAP/RAC premises. The Steering Committee has five members, representatives of national and local authorities, academic community and the Centre, as nominated by the Government of Croatia. At present, the members are: Ms Marijana Mance Kowalsky of the Ministry of Environmental Protection, Physical Planning and Construction, Ms Vesna Vukoviæ of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration, Ms Ružica Batiniæ Santro representing the Town of Split, Ms Maja Fredotoviæ of the Faculty of Economics, University of Split, and Mr Neven Stipica representing PAP/RAC.
Apart from reviewing the report on the activities implemented by the Centre in 2010 and the workplan for 2011, the Committee adopted the changes made in the internal acts of PAP/RAC in order to harmonise those with the changes made in the relevant national legislation. Among others, the decision was made to announce the vacancy for the post of PAP/RAC Director. After the applications have been collected the Steering Committee will meet again to analyse those and propose the best candidate to be nominated by the Government.
