On 16 and 17 December, PAP/RAC hosted a delegation from Montenegro. Representatives of the public enterprise “Morsko dobro” from Budva, ten of them, and a representative of the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Tourism each, visited Split. In view of the recently amended mandate of the public enterprise, they wished to discuss various issues of coastal zone management with relevant Croatian institutions. Also, they wanted to discuss the implications of the ICZM Protocol implementation. They asked PAP/RAC to organise the visit for them. During their stay they had meetings with representatives of the Hydrographical Institute of Croatia, the Split and Dalmatia County Port Authority, the Port of Split, the County Department for Beach Management, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Architecture – Department of Hydrological Works, and PAP/RAC. A filed visit was also organised to show some tangible results of beach management at the county level.
