New International Master's Programme in Architecture

As of the academic year 2013/2014, the University of Split, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Geodesy will be offering a new international graduate course in English in the field of architecture – Architecture and Urban Planning in Mediterranean Environment.

Located in the historical town of Split, dominated by the renowned UNESCO world heritage site Diocletian’s Palace, this is the first School of Architecture on the Eastern Adriatic. The school curriculum is focused on the Mediterranean environment, dealing both with contemporary phenomena of coastal development and the relationship with historical architectural heritage. Upon successful completion of their studies, students are granted a Degree of Master of Science in Architecture (120 ECTS credits), accredited as a professional degree for those intending to enter the professional practice of architecture.

The master’s programme is aimed at candidates with a Bachelor’s degree (first cycle, 6th EQF level, minimum 180 ECTS credits or its equivalent) in architecture and urban planning. Prospective students should have sufficient knowledge of English (B1 as per the CEF). Admission is subject to an assessment of candidate’s achievements and educational background.
