On the occasion of the Coast Day, a press conference will be organised on September 25 at the multimedia hall of the Montenegrin Ministry of Sustainable Development and Tourism in Podgorica. The results achieved so far in the frame of the CAMP Montenegro will be presented at the conference.
Also, at the city squares of all six coastal municipalities the volunteers of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Development (CEED) will be distributing promotional materials. At the same time, a stand with the promotional material will be open for citizens at the quay of the Small beach in the Municipality of Ulcinj which well known for its exquisite beaches in the whole Mediterranean region.
In order to encourage active participation of the young people, presentations dedicated to the importance of the protection of the coast, as well as the distribution of brochures and promotional materials to school children have been organised in two elementary schools and one high school in Ulcinj. Also, a contest on the theme “Coast and the sea we deserve” is organised in two elementary schools, while an art workshop on the same theme is held for kindergarten children. In collaboration with NGOs “Green Step”, “Bojana” and “Creative City” from Ulcinj the cleanup of the central part of the Big beach is organised.
