PAP/RAC is a part of a new EU Interreg Italy-Croatia project „CREATE“.
CREATE is a cluster project - it aims to capitalise on outcomes, networking and activities provided by numerous completed and ongoing Interreg Italy-Croatia projects.
Launched on June 1st, CREATE will provide coastal authorities and stakeholders with an easily accessible systematic overview of the knowledge produced around the topic “Adaptation to climate changes: governance and capacity building“.
Events, networking activities and dissemination initiatives will be at the core of CREATE, to accelerate systemic transformations towards sustainability and resilience, also enriching the available knowledge with the involvement of projects from the other thematic areas as well.
The CREATE project will analyse and synthesise results such as case studies, good practices, tools, methodologies, web platforms, datasets, etc. It will support future replications by providing monthly webinars, conferences, workshops, an on-line tool, a good practice handbook, and other types of support. The project will launch wide communication of key achievements, top insights and breakthrough ideas through different channels.
Finally, CREATE will support the transfer of good practices by proposing top achievements for replication, analysing factors of success, providing recommendations for harmonising procedures and data standards, bridging the knowledge gaps and leading the formulation of the new project ideas for the period 2021 -2027.
CREATE aims to build an IT-HR community for coastal adaptation.
