On 9 October, PAP/RAC staff hosted two national representatives from Namibia and from Angola, parties to the Benguela Current Convention (BCC). In a friendly and informal atmosphere, the meeting participants exchanged opinions and experiences relating to the activities and projects they are implementing, with particular reference to MSP, ICZM, EcAp, and climate variability and change (CV&C) issues. Interesting experience and opportunities for participation in distance learning programmes such as MedOpen have been shared with meeting representatives. On the following day, a visit to Šibenik and a meeting with representatives of the local authorities was organized with the aim of sharing with the BCC guests the results of the Coastal Plan for the Šibenik-Knin County prepared in collaboration with PAP/RAC.
