6th Mediterranean Coast and Macro-regional Strategies Week 2021

Even if due to the COVID 19 epidemic, Slovenia has not been able this year to celebrate the Mediterranean Coast Week as it has done every year for a decade, it has decided to organize the 6th Mediterranean Coast and Macro-regional Strategies Week 2021.

The event, which aims to raise awareness about the sea and its hinterland, the natural and economic potential it boasts, and outlines the risks facing the sea and its hinterlands as a result of natural phenomena and human activities, will take place . It brings together politicians, decision-makers, experts and civil society and interested public from all levels - local, regional, national and international.

This year's event objective is to further enhance the collaboration between the EUSAIR countries, as well as to strengthen macro-regional efforts of the EU and neighbourhood countries. Due to the still worrying context of the covid-19 pandemic and with the loyal support of the EUSAIR Facility Point, the 6th Mediterranean Coast and Macro-regional Strategies Week 2021 on 9-11 and 22-23 November 2021 is organized in online format at our common EUSAIR Stakeholder Platform. Nevertheless, the events within the Week 2021 will offer a lively space for interventions, debating, networking and the exchange of views.
