On September 12th, UNEP/MAP Coordinator Ms Tatjana Hema, together with PAP/RAC Director Ms Daria Povh Škugor, met with the Croatian Minister of Environment Protection and Green Transition, Ms Marija Vučković and her team. The upcoming meeting of the Directors of all MAP Components in Split allowed the UNEP/MAP Coordinator to visit the Croatian Ministry and introduce the new PAP/RAC Director and the new Croatian Minister.
During the meeting, several priority areas of shared interest between UNEP/MAP and the Republic of Croatia were discussed. These included exploring ways to strengthen PAP/RAC's role in the region, support the delivery of its important mandate, and enhance the visibility of Croatia's contribution to protecting the Mediterranean coast and sea.
