On the 8th March 2023, PAP/RAC organised a third stakeholder meeting on the preparation of the coastal plan for the Moroccan region Tangier-Tetouan-Al Hoceima (TTA), held in Tangier, in parallel with the third Climagine workshop coordinated by Plan Bleu/RAC. The coastal plan, known as Schéma Régional du Littoral SRL TTA, is being developed within the Child Projects 2.1 and SCCF of GEF MedProgramme. The specific focus of this workshop was to present the conclusions of the diagnostic analysis and to work on sustainability indicators that reflect the state of the environment concerning priority themes covered by the SRL TTA. The following day, a working meeting with the Regional Commission of the integrated coastal management of the region TTA was held. The stakeholders discussed the progress and the following steps of the territorial delimitation of the SRL and the work on strategic and operational objectives, coordinated by PAP/RAC; the next participatory Climagine activities regarding the indicators, piloted by Plan Bleu/RAC, and the water-energy-food-ecosystems nexus activities under the lead of GWP-Med partners.
