Towards finalization of the RCP

On 2O November 2014, the first workshop on finalization of the Reghaia Coastal Plan (RCP) was held in Algiers. It was the first meeting since the establishment of the Intersectorial Committee for the finalization of the Plan by the Wali of Algiers, which gave a new impetus to the activity and provided greater flexibility implementation of the RCP. In his introductory speech, the Secretary General welcomed the creation of this committee, and stressed the importance of achieving concrete recommendations for the area. It is towards this goal that the debates of the day tended, and the result perfectly met the expectations since the Action Plan has been significantly refined and validated by stakeholders. It remains to identify potential funding sources, which will be done at the last participatory workshop that should be held in December.
