PAP/RAC is full of impressions after the MedProgramme's 3rd Annual Stocktaking Meeting.
Partners from across the Mediterranean gathered at the 3rd Annual Stocktaking Meeting (8–10 April 2025) in Istanbul to reflect on progress, exchange knowledge, and plan the next steps for Child Projects under the MedProgramme by Global Environment Facility.
Key topics of the meeting included:
🔹 Circular & blue economy
🔹 Integrating climate adaptation into coastal plans
🔹 Sustainable financing for long-term impact
🔹 Communications & knowledge management
In addition, attendees had the opportunity to engage in a dynamic Constructive Journalism workshop that explored how to tell more solution-focused, engaging environmental stories – and boost collaboration with journalists.
On 11 April 2025, executing partners PAP/RAC, Plan Bleu, Global Water Partnership-Mediterranean (GWP-Med), and UNESCO-IHP gathered at a Steering Committee of the Child Project 2.1, presented project outcomes and discussed how to continue driving forward concrete actions. The conclusion of the collective plan for a more resilient Mediterranean is that the path to a sustainable and resilient Mediterranean is still long - collaboration is key if we want to reach the SDGs by 2030.
