MSP Worskpace Live

The new the Mediterranean Marine Spatial Planning (MSP) Workspace is now live. https://msp.iczmplatform.org/

This new workspace is dedicated to giving planners and policy makers’ quick access to online rapid assessment tools purely focused on Mediterranean MSP and has been published and coordinated by PAP/RAC, of the UN Environment Programme Mediterranean Action Plan.

Rapid assessment and planning tools will take users through the MSP seven stage preparation process, setting milestones and giving practitioners specific actions to be adapted to their local context.

By using a simple traffic light system, the tools in the form of a checklist, allows users to measure their own progress and identify gaps and priorities. The planning tools can be used for assessing and strengthening governance, climate action, ecosystem approach and land-sea interactions.

There’s also a step-by-step ‘How To’ video to help users make the most out of the new website.

Regular feedback from users to evaluate and improve this virtual space is being gathered via a two-minute online survey. You can also get in touch with the PAP/RAC team to share their experiences and ask questions.

We are looking forward hearing about your experiences in utilising our common MSP Workspace!
