Integration of Climate Variability and Change into the Coastal Plan of the Šibenik-Knin County

On April 21 a meeting was organised at the Old Town Hall of Šibenik to present to the local and national stakeholders several key papers for the current phase of the project. Those were the Assessment of Potential Costs Due to Sea-level Rise for the Republic of Croatia, calculated using the DIVA methodology, and the Assessment of Potential Costs Due to Climate Change for the Šibenik-Knin County. The results of these two studies will be integrated into the Coastal Plan of the Šibenik-Knin County, the first draft of which was also presented at the meeting in order to get feedback from the stakeholders to be used for finalisation of the document. The meeting was attended by 40-odd participants who made valuable contributions towards the completion of the Coastal Plan.
