CAMP Italy Project Mid-term Conference

On 21 March the conference “Actions and Tools for Coastal Management” will take place in Bologna – Cappella Farnese (in Piazza Maggiore). Organized by the CAMP Italy Project along with UNEP MAP, the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea and the partner Regions (Emilia-Romagna, Sardinia-Conservatoria delle coste and Tuscany), the conference will be an opportunity to present the integrated coastal management tools developed by the Project.

The event will consist of two sessions. During the morning session the presentations will focus on monitoring tools, data management and ecosystems preservations. In the afternoon session a workshop on coastal planning will be held.

The Conference is open to those who take part in coastal management – especially civil servants, politicians and technicians in the public sector, researchers and professionals – but also to private sector representatives involved in coast-based activities.
