Tunisia has ratified the ICZM Protocol!

On November 29, 2022, the President of the Republic of Tunisia, His Excellency Kaïs Saïed, ratified the ICZM Protocol for the Mediterranean. Tunisia has therefore become the 12th Mediterranean country and European Union who ratified this major instrument. It will now allow the country to advance further towards a more sustainable coastal zone.

The PAP/RAC team congratulates all those who helped achieving this success, starting with the members of the Ministry of the Environment and those of the Coastal Protection and Planning Agency, but without forgetting the civil society, researchers, and all the individual actors who participated in creating the right conditions for this ratification.
