Information meeting for the MedProgramme Climate add-on

Back to back with the 2nd Consultation Meeting of the GEF MedProgramme, an Information meeting for the project “Enhancing regional climate change adaptation in the Mediterranean marine and coastal areas”, was held in Rabat, Morocco, on 13-14 December 2017. The GEF Operational NFPs from 6 project countries were invited to attend the meeting. The partners presented the methodologies for the activities proposed for implementation in the framework of the project, as well as the results of similar activities implemented in the framework of the ClimVar & ICZM Project.  Countries provided a valuable feedback, confirming the appropriateness of the methodologies presented and a strong and high quality collaboration with UNEP/MAP and its Regional Activity Centres. The regional activities presented by the GWP-Med were also welcomed with a great interest and willingness expressed by the countries to undertake needed endeavours to make the best possible use of the activities proposed.
