The MedOpen Advanced Course on Calculating the IMAP Candidate Common Indicator 25 on Land Cover Change funded under the GEF MedProgramme ended on 29 October, and PAP\/RAC thanks the 17 participants from 7 Mediterranean countries for their rich contributions that made this session so dynamic.<\/p>\n
During the three weeks of the course, participants were able to learn more about IMAP and the common indicators from the PAP\/RAC team, as well as the importance of calculating Candidate Indicator 25 for coastal planning. They also learned how to calculate the indicator in a harmonized way, alongside a team of experts in geographic information systems, so that their values are comparable within the monitoring system.
