This is an important coastal wetland with several issues including the risks related to climate change, the sea level rise in particular. You can find both videos at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iucn.org\/news\/eastern-europe-and-central-asia\/202202\/safeguarding-wetlands-buna-delta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">following link<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Coastal wetlands are specific coastal ecosystems that have find their place also in the Article 10 of the <a href=\"http:\/\/paprac.org\/storage\/app\/media\/Dokumenti\/Protocol_publikacija_May09.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ICZM Protocol in the Mediterranean<\/a>. They play very important role at the interface between the land and the sea and have a great potential as a nature-based solutions to climate change adaptation. PAP\/RAC and partners have elaborated on \u2018governance for coastal wetlands\u2019 recently and the <a href=\"https:\/\/medwet.org\/publications\/handbook-on-governance-of-mediterranean-coastal-wetlands\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Governance Handbook<\/a> that provides also a Self-Assessment and Planning tool to assist coastal wetlands managers to track progress towards an effective and equitable governance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":6522,"parent":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-5081","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/hr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/5081","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/hr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/hr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/hr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/6522"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/hr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=5081"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
