{"id":4784,"date":"2015-05-03T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2015-05-03T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/news\/cvc-training-session-launched-this-morning\/"},"modified":"2026-05-07T12:01:56","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T12:01:56","slug":"cvc-training-session-launched-this-morning","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/hr\/novosti\/cvc-training-session-launched-this-morning\/","title":{"rendered":"CV&#038;C training session launched this morning"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The first Advanced training session on Climate Variability and Change (CV&amp;C), being an integral part of the PAP\/RAC <a href=\"http:\/\/www.medopen.org\/\" target=\"blank\">MedOpen<\/a> virtual training course in ICZM in the Mediterranean, has started today. The preparation and development of the session has been envisaged by the ClimVar &amp; ICZM project &#8211; complementary to the GEF\/UNEP\/World Bank Strategic Partnership for the Mediterranean Sea Large Marine Ecosystem &#8211; the MedPartnership initiative. In addition to raising awareness and improving knowledge of CV&amp;C aspects in the Mediterranean, the aim of this session is to enhance a policy dialogue and build \/ improve capacities on implications of CV&amp;C considerations.<\/p>\n<p>This training session is intended for candidates from the GEF eligible countries in which the ClimVar &amp; ICZM project is being implemented. Out of 24 candidates who applied for the training, 15 were selected from the following GEF eligible countries: Albania, Algeria, Croatia, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia and Turkey.
