{"id":4723,"date":"2013-10-03T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-10-03T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/news\/resmar-publication-coastal-erosion-monitoring-book-now-available\/"},"modified":"2026-05-07T12:37:11","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T12:37:11","slug":"resmar-publication-coastal-erosion-monitoring-book-now-available","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/hr\/novosti\/resmar-publication-coastal-erosion-monitoring-book-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"ResMar publication: Coastal erosion monitoring book now available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the frame of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.res-mar.eu\/it\/index.php\">ResMar<\/a> project results, including sharing and acting sustainable management models, a book entitled \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.res-mar.eu\/upload_docs\/Coastal_erosion\/\">Coastal Erosion Monitoring &#8211; A Network of Regional Observatories<\/a>\u201d was published. The book is the natural sequel to previous results on Beach erosion monitoring published in 2008 within a BEACHMED-e project. The publication of this book is contemporary with the official signing ceremony of the latest version of the Bologna Charter (BC 2012) one of its main objectives being establishing a network of existing coastal observatories. One of the key aims of this book is to underline the importance of monitoring and networks aimed at a proactive and adaptive defence strategy for a resilient coastal zone, as stated in Article 16 of the ICZM Protocol.<\/p>\n<p>The author of the book hopes that this book may present a \u201cgood practice\u201d enabling to share knowledge with scientific and civil communities and increase our knowledge of the state of the coastal zone for a better and wiser use of the territory in the future.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":7235,"parent":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false},"class_list":["post-4723","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/hr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news\/4723","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/hr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/news"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/hr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/news"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/hr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/7235"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/paprac.org\/hr\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=4723"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
