This project is a Regional Framework Operation co-financed by the INTERREG IIIC programme with the general objective to improve technical and administrative instruments for a strategic management of the coastal defence for sustainable development of the Mediterranean coastal zones. PAP\/RAC participated as a project partner to this initiative due to its expertise and experience in coastal erosion. At the conference, the Phase C results of Beachmed-e were presented. This phase was focused on the application and test of the new methodologies <em>via<\/em> pilot projects.
