30.05.2016

Searching for practical and operational solutions to support effective and successful adaptation was central to the workshop attended by more than 15 Mediterranean experts who met at the Plan Bleu premises in Marseille on May 25th & 26th, 2016. The workshop was organised in the context of the Adapt-Med project by ACTeon, environment and research consultancy company with the support from its partners (University of Aveiro, ISCTE-University Institute of Lisbon) and from Plan Bleu. A PAP/RAC representative attended the workshop and presented the initiatives and activities undertaken during the preparation of the Coastal Plan for the Šibenik-Knin County aiming to secure its successful implementation. This Plan was the first plan focused on adaptation to climate variability and change based on the ICZM Protocol. The workshop aimed to contribute to build networking and exchange of good practices on the climate change adaptation along Mediterranean coasts.
