A joint meeting of the Albanian and Montenegrin authorities was held on 15 October at the premises of the Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Water Administration in Tirana. The delegation of Montenegro composed of representatives of the Ministry of spatial planning and environment, and the Public enterprise for the coastal zone management “Morsko dobro” participated at the meeting. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Albanian Ministry of Environment where PAP/RAC, its partners and the selected national team leaders presented the project to be developed and implemented in the next three years.

Governmental representatives provided their views on national contexts and their expectations from this project, while the national team leaders identified the key drivers, opportunities and quality solutions for a transboundary collaboration. The participants discussed the proposal of the Steering Committee, and the final proposal on this issue will be given to the Governmental representatives for comment.

On the next day, the national team leaders, members of the Montenegrin delegation and the representatives of international organisations visited the pilot area of the Buna/Bojana river.
