The First Mediterranean Assessment Report is now available

The First Mediterranean Assessment Report (MAR1) prepared by the network of Mediterranean Experts on Climate and Environmental Change (MedECC – www.medecc.org) is available at the following link, along with its Summary for Policy-Makers (SPM) in Arabic, English and French: https://www.medecc.org/first-mediterranean-assessment-report-mar1/.

Titled “Climate and Environmental Change in the Mediterranean Basin – Current Situation and Risks for the Future”, MAR1 fills knowledge gaps and puts scientific evidence at the fingertips of decision-makers. This is a major achievement as a key Flagship Initiative of the Mediterranean Strategy for Sustainable Development (MSSD) 2016 – 2025.
