First sustainability workshop on Reghaia’s Coastal Plan

04.06.2013

On April 29, the first of the three sustainability workshops on Reghaia’s Coastal Plan was held in the premises of the Centre Cynégétique de Reghaia. The main objectives of this workshop were to validate and enrich together with the stakeholders the indicators and priority areas defined during the 1st phase of the activity, as well as to propose realistic alternatives taking into account the priorities and their feasibility.

The meeting, which gathered about forty participants representing the national, regional and local level institutions, was also attended by students of the National Superior School of Marine Sciences and Coastal Development (ESSMAL), responding to the need to build capacities in ICZM. The second workshop meant to set the action plan is going to be organised in the same place on June 19.
