Fascinating coastal landscape

15.07.2013

Last weekend, on 13 July, the walking trail of St. Anthony’s Channel in Šibenik was officially opened to public. The 4,4 km long trail takes the visitor through the beautiful and pristine environment of the Channel to the impressive fortress of St. Nicolas - one of the most valuable and best preserved examples of defence architecture in Dalmatia built by the Venetians in the 16th century.

PAP/RAC, working in close co-operation with the Šibenik-Knin County's institutions for coastal protection and development, especially in the frame of the GEF project “Climate Variability and Change”, was also invited to support this great initiative.
